Keystone Moldova, in partnership with “Close to You” Romania Foundation, has implemented a cross-border project to develop specific skills and knowledge around providing career guidance for people with disability. The project also aims to give young people with disabilities from both banks of the Prut River better access to the labor market.
Recently three guides have been created:
- Human resources management;
- Equal opportunities for employees at work;
- Motivating employees at work.
Intended for employers, specialists responsible for the professional assistance of people with disabilities, and career guidance service providers, the materials will be distributed in training sessions on career guidance for people with disabilities. The training sessions will be organized for professionals from the Republic of Moldova and Romania: staff of career guidance services in the education system and employment; students in tertiary education; teachers from general, vocational education, and tertiary education systems, and parents of people with disability.
From September to December, Keystone Moldova and “Close to You” Romania Foundation will organize training sessions in providing quality and inclusive career guidance systems for approximately 470 people in the field of education and employment.
The activities are organized within the Project “Cross-border partnership for inclusive career guidance” (2SOFT / 1.1 / 145), implemented by Keystone Moldova in partnership with “Close to You” Romania Foundation, financed by European Union through the Joint Operational Program Romania–Republic of Moldova 2014-2020, through the European Neighborhood Instrument (ENI).
