Project goal

People with disabilities and their families participate in the society as self-advocates and advocates, and contribute to better outcomes for their lives.

Project objectives

1. The national informal network of self-advocates expanded and strengthened in exercising their right to participate in the society as full and equal citizens.
2. Parents’ informal network developed through empowerment and leadership.
3. Keystone Moldova provides quality services to persons with disabilities and their families, and promotes social inclusion of persons with disabilities according to the Organization’s strategy.

Main activities

1. Capacity building activities at local level for self-advocates;
2. Support in implementing advocacy activities at local level, based on Advocacy Strategy previously developed;
3. Attending the European events related to self-advocacy;
4. Developing an online communication platform for self-advocates;
5. Developing and implementing a support program for parents with persons with disabilities;
6. Providing legal support to persons with disabilities and their parents;
7. Developing an online hub for parents www.informat.md;(external website)
8. Keystone Moldova organization development activities.
